This week, we celebrate a classic Sci-Fi Babe’s birthday—Jeri Ryan turns 42 today. But age, and having 2 children, sure doesn’t slow this incredibly hot blonde down!
Jeri came to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting after college. She started out her career having guest spots on shows such as “Matlock” and “Melrose Place.” Her first sci-fi role was as Juliet Stewart, an extraterrestrial investigator on the show “Dark Skies”, which only lasted for a year. Then came her biggest break.
In 1997, Jeri auditioned for and landed the role of Seven of Nine, a Borg drone, on “Star Trek: Voyager.” We loved this character—she dealt with the Borgs and then had to deal with being an individual, living as a human. We loved seeing her evolution!
Since “Voyager” ended, Jeri has kept busy appearing on shows such as “Boston Legal” and “Shark.” She has also appeared in several films and now has a recurring role on “Leverage”, a drama on TNT.
We love seeing Jeri keep busy, but we’ll always love her best as Seven of Nine, in her tight fitting bodysuit and slicked back hair. What a hot babe. Jeri—have a great birthday and please do some more sci-fi!
