Sci-Fi Babe of the Week for 3.1.10 – Ali Larter

We were reminded of another hot Sci-Fi Babe this weekend when we heard it was Ali Larter’s birthday. Born in New Jersey, this stunning 34 year old blonde was discovered at age 13 and eventually signed a contract to model with Ford Modeling Agency in NY. When she modeled as a hoax for a story in Esquire in 1994, agents scrambled to find out who the fictional model was.

By 1997, Larter was making regular TV appearances on shows like “Suddenly Susan” and “Dawson’s Creek.” Her first small film role was in “Varsity Blues” in 1999, but her movie career really took off when she starred in “Final Destination” the following year. She also appeared in “Legally Blonde” and several other films before landing a role on “Heroes.”

Although we lost interest in “Heroes” a while back, Ali’s role as Niki/Jessica is anything but forgettable! She was a sweet mom one minute and then seemingly used to turn into her super strong twin who had no problem causing mayhem. And she continues to stir things up!

It’s nice to know we can turn TV on to catch Ali, but we were even happier to hear she is starring in this year’s “Resident Evil: Afterlife.” The film is set for release at the end of this summer and we are pumped! We can’t wait to see Ali reunited with another favorite Babe, Milla Jovovich. What’s better than two gorgeous women (and ex-models) fighting zombies? Not a lot.

We are looking forward to seeing a lot of this blonde beauty in 2010. Ali Larter we are happy to see you working so much—especially in sci-fi! Keep on strutting your stuff.
