It seems every sci-fi geek is busy analyzing the last season of Lost, but we were excited to hear news about one of J.J. Abrams’ other creations—Fringe, which Fox announced has been renewed for season 3. This is especially good news because we always are up for seeing more of our favorite sexy paranormal investigator, Fringe star Anna Torv.
Australian born Anna received her performing arts degree from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Australia in 2001. She started her acting career in the theater, and then went on to act in small TV and movie roles. She also did the voice for the character Nariko in the video game “Heavenly Sword.”Something we may want to check out is Anna’s role in the BBC’s “Mistresses,” where she played a lesbian. We’d love to see this gorgeous blonde kiss another girl.
Anna’s big break was landing the role of FBI Agent Olivia Dunham on “Fringe” in 2008. Although her character looks a librarian type in her business suits, she is also strong and sexy. Sometimes our minds reel at how much she understands fringe science. And she knows how to stand up for herself too. We’d want her next to us if we were facing down bad guys!
Watch for Anna to return on “Fringe” for the final Season 2 episodes on April 1st and new episodes for the fall season. We know we’ll follow this smart, sexy blonde on any investigation and that’s why Anna Torv is our Sci-Fi Babe of the week!
