Heading into the final weeks of “Lost” it’s really feeling like the show is coming to an end…but no spoilers here! What we want to focus on of course is the hot Babez on the island. And one of the hottest of them all is Sun, played by Yunjin Kim.
Yunjin Kim is a Korean American actress born in Seoul in 1973. Soon after immigrating to Staten Island, NY, Yunjin made her stage debut in her school’s 7th grade production of “My Fair Lady.” She attended high school in Manhattan at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. She want on to study drama in London and received her degree in drama from Boston University.
Once she graduated from college, Yunjin landed a few minor roles on television and did some off Broadway shows. Her native country, Korea came calling though in 1996—a show called “A Gorgeous Vacation” recruited her to return to Korea. Yunjin continued doing TV shows in Korea and landed her first film, “Shiri” in 1999.
As Yunjin’s acting resume lengthened, she signed with an agent at William Morris in 2003. The following year, she landed the role of Sun on “Lost.” (She originally went in to audition for the role of Kate.)
Yes, we will be sad to see “Lost” go, especially because of the hot Babez that inhabit the island, but we know the real actresses will go onto other projects. We hope that Yunjin Kim keeps acting in America—we’d sure like to see her as a Sci-Fi Babe again soon!
